In other news on Tuesday, Global Business Listing, (www.globalbusinesslisting.com) a paid inclusion search engine (of which I am the founder) announced an important cost reduction in its listing fees. In operation since May 2003, Global Business Listing helps companies and businesses increase their Web visibility through an effective paid inclusion search service.

The lower listing fees include a custom-designed data sheet and listing page, complete with the customer's corporate logo, products and services description and full contact information. Global Business Listing also manages a network of paid inclusion resellers, further strengthening its brand. Additionally, Global Business Listing's customers benefit by an automatic 10% discount on their standard Web hosting costs, if they agree to switch hosting providers.

On Wednesday, Geico, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, filed suit against Google and Overture, in federal court in Alexandria, Va. Auto insurance company Geico has sued the two companies for allegedly violating its trademarks in search-related advertisements, in the latest legal salvo against the Internet companies.
