Dear reader, hello and welcome back! What a busy week this was. As I look at my calander, it sure dose'nt feel like July at all. Usually, we have a bit less work at this time of the year. But not this year. In the last three weeks, business at Rank for $ales has more than doubled! I guess companies are finally realizing the importance of search engine marketing and are allocating new budgets towards it.

I must also say that our number one ranking on AltaVista does help a lot too. That's right. At the end of June, AltaVista made an update of their database and has placed us at the number One position, right on top of our largest competitor. From day to day, that position fluctuates between one and two and the "view at the top" sure feels great. Our enquiries and our sign-ups are up about 40% in the past three weeks alone.

People talk about Google all the time, but it's nice to see that AltaVista, owned by Yahoo is still being used by many corporate executives, both in the US and in Canada, those two countries representing about 85% of our global market.
