The over-allotment option is a fairly typical arrangement between firms going public and the banks underwriting the offering. Also called the Green Shoe, for the company that first used it, it allows the banks to buy additional shares from the company after the IPO -- usually 15 percent of the total.

In other developments on Monday, Michael Fagan informed the SEO community that his new URLinfo resource makes finding information about a specific web page or website from a variety of sources just a click or two away. At the top of the URLinfo website, simply enter the url you want to learn more about. Then, simply click on any of the colored tabs to access data about the page or site.

Also available is a resource that with just a few clicks will create customized bookmarks to various parts of URLInfo. No coding is needed. It looks like Mr. Fagan has done it again and has built another useful tool. Michael also wanted me to let you know that feedback is welcome. In news on Tuesday, subscribers to the MoveOn.org mailing list may have found that their interests in the anti-George Bush political website was a matter of public record... (!) A website misconfiguration left dozens of the liberal political group's subscriber pages easily searchable through simple Google queries.

Each page included a subscriber's name, e-mail address and the mailing lists to which he or she is subscribed. CNET News.com confirmed that several searches turned up more than two dozen individual subscriber pages. "This is extremely disturbing," said one subscriber, who requested anonymity, when contacted through e-mail. "I'm not sure if I should be worried or not, but I am."
