This is a bit more work, because you have to type in your domain name inside the link everytime you create one, but trust me, this is time well spent! I've had time to experiment this technique on different sites and I can tell you it does work.

Most HTML editors I know of (and there are many) don't seem to offer this feature, and that even includes the one I've been using for the past 8 years! Even the latest version I received late last year doesn't have it. Take the time to do it right and you will be glad you did!

It's still unclear at this time why some search engines seem to prefer absolute links vs relative links, but since absolute links seem to work better, and appear to 'distribute' PR more evenly in a site, the choice should be clear: stick with absolute links!
