Google was in the news again when a new search engine tool has been released Wednesday, based on the Google search engine and is directed towards the gay community specifically. Fagoogle.com supports homosexuality and actively sponsors programs aimed at educating people about the gay lifestyle.

Released this week, Fagoogle.com aims to generate well needed money for the gay community - an area in which lack of awareness causes problems for many people, straight or otherwise. Fagoogle.com is a search engine based on the Google engine, which means the results, speeds, and quality is identical to Google, but with one major difference: the revenue it produces is used to fund awareness programs (mostly in schools) for the ongoing battle for gay rights.

On news on Thursday, Ask Jeeves expanded its search services and gave its butler a more modern look. The Emeryville, Calif.-based company said it has developed My Jeeves, a personalized storage locker for Web surfers' search results.
